available on the websites of TIFR-H and ICTS within two weeks of the
declaration of GATE/ NET results.
BIOLOGY - TIFR-DBS,
TIFR-H and TIFR-NCBS: will also consider candidates
based on their GATE/CSIR/UGC-NET rank. Via this route we will only
consider candidates who are in the top 5 percentile of ranks (e.g.
they must have a rank of 100 or better if a total of 2000 candidates
appeared for the corresponding exam).

we will provide you instructions on how to submit a full
application.
CHEMISTRY:
DCS, TIFR-Mumbai does not consider JEST/CSIRGATE
scores for admissions.
TIFR-Hyderabad - Details of the admission
procedures including cut-offs will be available on the website of
TIFR-H within two weeks of declaration of GATE/CSIR-UGC NET/JAM
results.
SYSTEMS
SCIENCE :
GATE score based applications
in Systems Science (including Communications and Machine
Learning):
Engineering students with exceptional performance in GATE
examination of 2021-2023 in Electrical, Electronics and
Communications Engineering, Mathematics may apply for the Ph.D.
program without appearing for the TIFR Entrance Test. The link for
GATE score based applications is made available on our website by
end-January every year..
Last date for applying would be, two weeks after the GATE results
are displayed on their website.
In case a
student takes the Systems Science TIFR Entrance Test and also
submits a GATE score based application, the better of the two
performances will be considered.
